hey all, i have a problem, first off, i dont even know what the brand of this dvd player is to start with. I bought this item here http://www.gadgetuniverse.com/product_detail.asp?SKU=TV+322+W .
now, on to the problem, for some strange reason, the dvd player does not play bought original dvds, it says it is not formatted or something. BUT it does play my legal backups of the dvds. does anybody know a code/hack? and im sorry if this player is on the list, but i dont know the name of it, so i cant search :/

    Thanks for any help.

The problem disks are bought in the USA? Major studio or cheap off-brand movies/cartoons?

Suggests either the DVDs or the player is defective.

If its multiple movies from multiple studios, I'd guess the player is defective, or the movies are counterfeit.

yep. everything ive played is region 1, and heres whats weird, the only dvds that wont play are the television shows " OVER THERE" and The star trek borg fan collection dvds, i havent had any problems with playing any other dvds. those 2 were bought in the store and they are real releases. theres nothing wrong with the dvd's because ive played them and no prob in any of my home dvd players.
