I am in the process of converting my home VHS videos to DVD using a Panny 1980, some analog enhancing equipment and dumping it onto the HDD of a Toshiba xs-55. I am very pleased with the quality of the finished product, but seem to be unable to have the menu display the chapter titles. I have tried using the "Create a DVD-Video using DVD-R/RW" instructions in the editing section of the manual, and have also created a playlist with chapter titles and then burned this playlist using high speed dubbing with DVD finalizing, but all that comes up on the menu is the chapter thumbnails with the DVD title next to them. I must be doing something wrong!

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Are you assigning Chapter Names to your Original Titles or to your Playlist Titles or both?
Life is better when you focus on the signals instead of the noise.
