Sorry if I come off as a bit of an idiot, but when I bought a DVD burner I had no idea how out of my league I truly was.
I have a folder full of movies downloaded off the net. I would like to burn them to DVD. When I try I usually always get a system message saying the file is too large. I tried compressing the file to no avail. Admittiedly, I most likely did it wrong.
Basically, I have no clue what I'm doing, but I'd like to learn. If I've missed a post that explains this please link me to it.

Depends on who you pay for them. If you could point me to one of the download sites, it's easily settled.
