  1. hi there,

i'm curerntly playing a "VTS_01_0.IFO" (dvd) in MPC with ffdshow filter.

now.. i want to have 2x playback speed. I was told that i can add this command to avisnynth in FFDSHOW to do it: TimeStretch(tempo=200)

But when i did this, nothing happens to my video. i thought my problem was not "loading" the video. but when i added "AviSource("VTS_01_0.IFO")", it gave me an error saying:
    Couldnt open file etc. etc.

what did i do wrong..? sorry i'm veyr new to avisynth. can someone tell me the exact things i need to tpye in the avisynth box in FFDshow?

Use dgindex to create a .d2v file of the vob(s). Then you can use mpeg2source to load the .d2v file into you avisynth script. Avisource is used for avi container.

Another option is to install MPUI http://mpui.sourceforge.net/

You can't play AVI files with it? You're kidding. Post a Gspot capture.

I've never been able to get Avisynth working with ffdshow - I know it works, obviously. It just doesn't with the combination of app versions on my system.

  6. thanks, i tried mpui again, it turns out i didnt ahve mplayer haha.

anyways it works.. but it doesnt compensate for the much higher voice pitch.. this works the same way Meida player classic, they have a faster rate option, but it increases the pitch.
