  1. I have a project with the usual 2 x BUP 2 x IFO and 9 VOB's, I tried to burn it to disc with NERO 6 (OEM). and it turns out too large. Is there a compresion option I am missing that would not decrease the quality of play back ?

On the other hand is there a tutorial that would guide me into splitting the files to 2 DVD"s , where I could convert the menu so each disc would have a menu ?

How much too large? If this is a DVD file you have created, there's probably not much you can remove, such as unwanted languages, etc. You could try DVD Shrink for quick and easy, but you will have quality loss if the file is far oversize. Another option would be DVD Rebuilder and re-encode it. This would be better if it's quite a bit oversize.

Or the last and slowest way is to comvert it back to a MPEG with VOB2MPEG and re-encode the whole thing.

Or you may be able to split the VOBS up without re-encoding, but someone else would have to give you tips on that.
