Hey everyone. I'm trying to find out how I can play the VHS tapes that I recorded in the United States - now that I've moved to Holland. I lived in the United States for 43 years, and recorded with the "old fashioned" VHS CamCorders a bunch of Home Video stuff.

My dad just sent a package today with a bunch of my old VHS tapes, but I don't know what kind of VCR here in Holland will play these tapes.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? If there are any Dutch members on this forum, maybe you could recommend a good online store I could get a European VCR from here in The Netherlands.

Thanks in advance for your help and advice, Randy

Most videorecorders sold in The Netherlands can play VHS tapes from the USA. My JVC VCR doesn't have any problems. You could also check http://www.kieskeurig.nl/nl/product.nsf/product/videorecorder.htm
The site also shows online stores that sell the players. Just be sure the VCR supports playback of NTSC and it should work.

    Good Luck,
