    Hi folks,

Fairly new to the whole converting scene.

I have WinAvi (can't remember what version, mailing this from work ) and KLite Codec pack installed.

When converting from AVI to DVD, after copying the output is slightly jerky. i.e. seems to stick for one frame every second or so.

Before converting the output is fine. Any ideas on how to rectify this. It isn't too noticable, only if the camera pans around or zooms in on an object.

Again, apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere.

    Cheers,

    Fin

Yea don't use winavi, use ConvertXtoDVD. That "seems to stick to one frame" is actually frames being duplicated to increase the playback framerate. ConvertX uses pulldown instead for smoother playback.
