Is there a good program out there that I can use to combine an ac3 and m2v file so I can drop it onto the vegas timeline for editing? I recently learned that Vegas can import a VOB, but these are not in VOB format =(

I understand Vegas 7 will do that. Older versions require decode of AC3 to separate audio channels before import.

I understand Vegas 7 will do that. Older versions require decode of AC3 to separate streams before import.
Vegas 7 will NOT import an m2v file, only a multiplexed m2v/ac3

Ahh right. I was thinking AC3 import is only a Vegas 7 feature. Then you need to mux them first or import 6 audio waves.

If you need adjustment for delay, MPEG Video Wizard is better.
