3GP_Converter (iPod Hack by:ssj2 goha) vista fix Help

3GP_Converter fails before trandcoding complete itunes authuring (NicMP4Box.exe)? I thing it because the vista new file structuring or something?

You may be out of luck. Vista does use different file structuring. There's a list of Vista compatible programs here: http://www.iexbeta.com/wiki/index.php/Windows_Vista_Software_Compatibility_List

You could try SUPER. It does seem to work with Vista and may be able to do those type of conversions. Otherwise, it may take a while before the applications catch up with the new OS. You could try the software's internet site and see if they have any info. Also, there may be a forum for your program that may help.

It's probably becauase my hack uses MY documents i think let me look at it. e-mail or PM me the log that gives the error and i'll try to fix it.

After dealing with a few programs that Vista didn't like, I also found, 'Run as administrator' and 'XP SP2 compatibility mode' solved many of them. Right click on the program before you install and you will see the first option. The second is the 'Program Compatibility Wizard'. Find it by typing that name in a 'Help and Support' window.

Neither option will help much with poorly written or old programs, but it does solve some issues with programs that run OK in XP SP2.

yeah that was the site the hack was on originally. Is it working for you now?

Yeah, it works on vista but that freak'in "User Acces Control" pops up at the end of the encoding process because of the NicMP4Box.exe, other then that it's straight.
