    Greetings to everyone,
    I am thinking of buying this Pioneer DVD recorder DVR-330S (International Edition). Can anyone say how good is the recorded picture quality in SP mode compared to, say, Panasonic DMR ES25 (US model) ?

    That 330S appears to be a Pioneer model from about two to three years ago, based on the styling.

    You should probably get something more current to ensure blank media compatibility.
