    Hi all,

I've a Panasonic NVDS25 handy camera. I was using it lately for transfering video from minidv cassettes to PC and burning it to dvd. Things were fine until when I realized that I see streaks of lines on the viewfinder of the camera. The LCD display is good though. but I'm comfortable taking videos looking into the view finder rather than opening the LCD display.

What can be done to rectify it?

    thanks,
    foton

Hows the video? If it's ok, I wouldn't worry about it.

Video is good, no problem with it. With LCD also there's no change in video. My only concern is why am I seeing streaks of lines in the viewfinder. I tried setting it in vcr mode, card and then to camera mode. It doesn't help.

The dioptre came off once as I was removing the cap. But I fixed it back and it was alright even then. Suddenly one day I observed these lines thru which I can't see thru the viewfinder.
