  1. I tried gspot and it crashed with an error message about DirectShow. I downloaded a new version which is supposed to work in Vista but it also crashed.

I have used the newer 2.70a with Vista with no problems. 2.70a is said to be Vista compatible, at least with the 32bit version of Vista. When you open 2.70a, go to the 'Options>Settings' tab and clear your registry entries and that should reset everything.

I did have problems with 2.60 and my Vista OS. I got that same error. Removing 2.60 and installing 2.70, then clearing the rgistry seemed fix it.

  4. Thanks. I downloaded it today, but it was 2.60. 2.70 is fine.
