  1. I have a .OGM video with seperate subtitles. It took me long enough to figure out how to just add the freaking subtitles with VirtualDubMod, so I really need help.

Step by step, this is what I do when trying to change the .OGM to .AVI...

First: I open the file in VirtualDubMod

Second: I then go into "Streams" > "Stream List" (The file is Dual Audio BTW). I then change the default audio from English to Japanese, move the Japanese to the top, and disable the English. (I've tried not disabling it, not moving it, etc.)

Third: Next I go into "Video" > "Filters" > "Add..." and add my subtitles

Fourth: I run a "Preview Filtered" to make sure that the audio is the Japanese and that my subtitles are there, which they are

Fifth: I go to "File" > "Save as..." and choose .AVI. Towards the bottom I choose for the Video Mode "Full Processing Mode" and I choose for Compression "XviD MPEG-4 Codec."

Last: I hit the save button and hope it works, which it doesn't. The video comes out perfectly, subtitles and all...but I get NO audio, and it makes me kind of angry XD (Note: I've tried other formats of compression but they don't work either...I haven't tried ALL of them...so if it's the compression that I chose wrong, please tell me what to use.)

If anyone could help me, that would be great.

    Thank you!

you could just mux the audio into the xvid file when your done - since you have already done the compression
