Hey I was just wondering something. With the release of a few hddvd rippers now do the ripped files bypass hdcp encryption protocols?? Can you play them at full res over standard vga cables and a standard non-hdcp enable monitor and video card???
That would be a huge bonus if one was to buy the xbox 360 hddvd drive and hack it for pc playback. Your only outlay would be for the 200.00 drive plus the cost of new movies and harddrive space for ripped movies.....
So is it possible to do full res ripped hddvd without encryption protocols????

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

Allows you to watch movies over a digital display connection, without HDCP compliant graphics card and HDCP compliant display. No need to buy an expensive monitor. Sweet!
