Are there any drag n drop software programs that work well for dragging files to cd or dvd. I need to save a bunch of files prior to reboot and new install of windows. Thank you.

BJ_M to use the windows built in feature do I just right click on the folder and send it to the drive I am burning to? I too have Nero but do not like it for many reasons, have also tried Roxio with no luck.
    Thank You,

Right click on the folder and/or files. Send to the drive. A new icon will appear in the task bar on the right. Click on the icon and follow the directions.

Using drag and drop can produce unreliable discs, be wary. Do a search for packet writing.

Drag nad drop AFAIK has to be supported by the software you are using.

Well if it was me I'd just have to update my backups on my exteranal drive , backup the most importaant stuff to DVD.

Create a data disc from the regular inteface in your burning application, use write once media.
