  2. I don't know about digital conversions, but you could do a realtime conversion by setting your software recording input in Windows the to the wave channel and then playing the file. It will record what plays through your sound card to a .wav file that you can convert to another format.

  3. There is a plugin for Winamp that lets you load RealAudio files into it. Then just goto preferences and select "save as a wave" waveout.dll

    This will save the RA file as a wave and then you can edit it with any wave editing software.

    You can also use the software Ra2wav. It converts Real audio files to wav files fast and efficiently. But this software is no longer proposed by it's manufacturer. So you can try finding it on some websites that propose it for download.
