I have a DVD with a 31-second motion menu that I complied with TDA 1.6. This DVD also has a 20-second intro clip that plays at startup that I added using PGCEdit's import first play clip function. Is it possbile using PGCEdit or some other freeware/shareware app to modify the motion menu to timeout after so many loops (e.g., 6 x 31-seconds = ~3min) and play a title? If so, what about timing out to a stop?

Yes, you just need to use a conditional post command. I don't have/use TDA myself, but I think the loop command will be there (post command of the VMGM menu). Use a free GPRM register (pcgedit can find one for you) and add 1 to this register each time the loop is done. Add a condition like: if GRPMXX > 6 jump title YY. In the pre command of the title reset the GPRMXX register to 0 again.

I accomplished the menu timeout using PGCEdit. Specifically, what I did was to author a DVD in TDA v 1.6 with motion menus. I authored the DVD with a main menu and multiple tracks only (no track menus). Each track contained one epsiode. The result was a motion menu that looped every 31-seconds. I then use PGCEdit to cause the motion menu to timeout after 6-loops (~3min) and play all.
If it would be of benefit to anyone, I'd be happy to put a short guide together describing what I did. Any interest?
