    Hello,
I'm using DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 to copy a DVD on my HD.
When I try to read it, from the HD, with PowerDVD using the SPDIF (I have an external AC3 decoder), the audio keeps on going away, and the little led on the external decoder switches off accordingly.
I have formatted the HD and reinstalled everything because I had a lot of other codecs installed, and now I only have PowerDVD and DVDDecrypter, but the problem remains.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

PS: when I read directly from the DVD there is no problem, the audio is flawless.

  2. Ive never seen dvd decrypter being able to read a dvd ripped on the the hdd. Its only for ripping the disc and burning a img on to a dvdr.
Life is like a pothole, you just have to learn to get around it.

I haven't found a solution to this problem yet.
Do you know if the VIA IDE drivers might have caused this? Do you think I should have kept the ones that came with Windows2000?

It's been a while since any new DVD title could be successfully copied to hard drive using Decrypter alone (whatever version). You may be experiencing residual copy protection issues.

    I have tried now CloneDVD2 2.9.0.3 with AnyDVD 6.1.2.6.
    No success.
Would you suggest a program that would work?
I'm trying to copy on the HD The lord of the Rings, the extended editions.
    Thank you!

edit: I tried DVDFab... same exact problem...

I generaly use RipIt4Me in conjunction with DVD Decrypter but if this is a hardware issue then that will not help.

This is a long shot but I once kept losing the audio line input to my capture card. It turned out to be Norton Antivirus blocking the signal. Since replacing Norton with another antivirus I've had no such problems.
