Hi All, im new at this board, and excuse me if this is a question that have been answered.
I have a Canon DC100 and recorded som minidvd's. Now i want to edit this files.
I want to transfer the Mini DVD to my PC without any dataloss i quality.

What format / software should i use, i think my cam records in Mpeg2, if i tranfer with the same format is the file on pc then exactly as the one on miniDVD or is there any loss i quality?

    Thanx.

Put the miniDVD in your PC and copy the files directly - no data loss. Use a good mpeg editor - videoredo or Womble Mpeg Wizard or perhaps mpeg2cut2 - as these will edit without re-encoding unnecessarily.

if you need to extract the content of the VOB files on the miniDVD, try VOB2mpg
