I have some flv files from youtube, myspace video, google video, etc that i want to be able to watch on my dvd player. I dont have a dvd burner, but i do have a cd burner.

How do i convert these flvs to a format compatible withe my dvd player. I downloaded the super program on this site but havent installed yet. Should i use that, and what do i need to do.

Sorry for being such a newb, im usually really good at this kind of thing, but im having format issues.

I use super for just about everything.
Be aware that you may have to check/uncheck the direct show box. (If at first you don't succeed, try again.)

Well, i got it to work. It takes a long time to encode. And then i was able to burn it to a cd-rw which takes longer than a cd-r, but i can reuse my cd-rws.

That super is great software for being free! I wish i had known about it sooner, and this is a great site too.
