Hey
I am trying to make a DivX from the vobs that I ripped with smartripper, but when the final file is done the audio is out of synch. Here is what I did:
Ripped the vobs off the dvd with smart ripper
Used DVD2AVI to make the AVI and I got an AVI file and a WAV file
Used virtual dub the put the two files together with these settings:
Video--> direct stream copy
Audio--> full processing mode
WAV audio
commpression-->MPEG layer 3 in 128 kb/s 48,000 Hz Stereo
interleaving--> preload 500, interleave audio every 500 ms,
delay audio track by 0 ms
I have no idea whats wrong with the audio, I have tried to change the numbers in the interleaving option but the audio was still out of synch.
Does anybody know whats wrong?
Thanks

Is it a constant audio / video delay or is the audio faster / slower than the video?
Have a look at this guide about manual syncing:
