    Hi all..Great forum....

Question from a newbie.I'm just getting into the video side and wanted to find out, if I upload an flv file to my website, in order for others to view the videos will I need to have my own flv player installed on the website and will basically anyone be able to see the video just by selecting the video to play?

Lastly, we're going to be uploading some instructional videos to our website that are about 10 min. in length each. How long should it take for an flv file of this size to upload?

    thanks for guiding a newbie

A flash player would be best, for example http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=Flash_Video_Player . See also https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=315188#flv

What is the file size of the 10min video clips? and what is your internet connection speed?

Or just use youtube and direct link to the flash from your site.
