I have Adobe Premiere Pro. It's a pain in the butt. It only seems to like straight DV avi format.
I've been trying to convert an xvid file (for personal use... nothing illegal) to DV video. I'm having a really hard time figuring this out. I read a lot of tutorials. I finally figured out that I could download the Panasonic DV Codec and use that for saving in VirtualDub. However, It appears that Premiere hates that file to. It just says "compression not supported".
Anyone have any idea what Premiere WILL support? Another Codec? I'm pretty stuck.
