    how to convert vlc file to avi/ mpeg/ other's common format??? i'm downloading video's from youtube... hehe.... thx...

    I'm not sure what you mean by a 'VLC' file. Try dropping the file into Gspot 2.60 and that will usually tell you the format it is. But VLC can also transcode a file to a more 'normal' format. But the better method is usually to identify the original format, then pick an encoder that can convert it to a format that you want.

    YouTube may be FLV format. You might look into the freeware SUPER if you can't get the VLC transcode option to work. You may also need a program to download the video:
