I'm looking at a video on the Google site. Is there some way it can be captured?

A slightly different topic. I had my webcam hooked up and active when I fired up Vegas. When I went to Video Capture, I was playing. Interesting. Surprised me. I disconnected to see if the Google video could be seen. Nope.

You can use the Google player to download it, or the unplug plugin for FireFox (amongst many others).

Virtualdub usually recognises Google video as a Divx derivative, but not everything will, so you may have to convert it before loading into Vegas.

I'll check to see if SeaMonkey has the unplug. It's really not important to get it into Vegas directly. Anyway I can get it into a format that I can put on a DVD is fine.

ConvertXtoDVD will convert it. The quality of GV is pretty average though, so expect a lot of blocking.

Well, this turned out to be far easier than I thought. Google/Video has a small pull down menu to the right of the video display area that says "Download (Window/Apple)".

No all clips have the download option, but if they do then it is the better quality way to go.
