    I have successfully copied my old VHS tapes (family vacations, weddings, etc.) onto some DVD+R discs using LG RC199H VHS-to-DVD recorder. The discs evidently have AUDIO_TS AND VIDEO_TS files. I want to edit the recorded movies, but my editing software (MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 11) cannot read these files. How do I convert the files to a format that is readable (e.g., avi, mpeg, mvd, etc.)?

    VOB2MPG would be the easy way to convert them to MPEG video.

    There are other ways, also.
