    Download an avi file, opened Nero to copy it as a vcd and 3 hours later, just over 70% into conversion, "Nero has caused an unknown error in....." and everything lost. Considering it only took 2 hours or so to download the file in the first place, why on earth do I have to wait up to 5 hours to change to mpg format from avi?

    UR DVD player only has MPEG 1 and MPEG 2 decoders.


    It can't decode any other type of videos.

    To play and video you need a playback codec.

    DVD players only have MPEG 1 and MPEG 2.
