I have built a dvd menu structure in DVDAS 4.
When I enter the main menu i want to play an audio clip, but if i navigate away from the main menu and then back again, i dont want the audio clip to play.
I have done this using multiple main menus ie: one with audio and one without, so i navigate to the one without after the first play. Is this the only way of doing this, or is there a better way?
As I understand it, if I use a loop point, the buttons wont work until the loop point is reached, and i dont want this to happen.
thanks.

In DLP I would use multiple cells, and have buttons active in both, but return to the second cell after leaving the first. Effort wise it is only slightly less than creating two separate menus, but the switch between them is seamless if the first menu if left to run out.
If DVDA doesn't allow buttons before the loop point then you don't have the same luxury, and will have to settle for two menus.Read my blog here.
