Hi, I usually use Pinnacle Studio 7. But this time I was thinking to use Adobe Premiere 6. I am wondering does Adobe Premiere 6 has auto scene detection feature so it creates different file for each scene while it captures. I have Sony D8 camcorder and FireWire to capture videos. Thanks in advance for any help.

I also use Pinnacle Studio 7 but I capture video using Scenalyzer. It does the best job of capturing of any program I have found. I don't know if Premiere will do scene detection but Scenalyzer will.

It will also create DV files that Premiere can use.
