Ok here is the deal. I want to make a DVD with Korean subs. It is hard enough finding a player that will play the subs ( unless it is a windows machine) but I have the subs and they are a .smi file.
They are encoded with DOS/ Win Korean. I have a MAC
THis comes from the encoding from Cellulo ( one of the few that actually can read the files.
Now is there a download that I can use to make the file encoded. I use the drop down menus for subs on ffmpegX but there is nothign there related to Korean and mac. I am at a lost for it. I am almost tempted to have to use Xp for this but then I have never tried and the software will prob. be not what I am looking for.
can someone give me a pointer or something.
Tahnks for the help if you can

I'll move you to our Mac Forum where you may get more Mac specific help. Moving you.
And you might look around in our Subtitles Forum. If you need to try it with a Windows computer, you can rephrase the question and post it in the Subtitles forum. Also check the ffmpegX forums.
And welcome to our forums.
