Remove watermark on a movie, and replace it with my own??

I was wondering if its possible to remove a watermark, and add my own??? I have searched the forums and found nothing but how do I add one and how do I remove one. Would I have to Remove it first, then add my own???
By the way if I do this, I would have to use Virtual Dub right? Is there another program anyone knows about????

VirtualDub would be a freeware solution. You could apply the DeLogo filter and remove the watermark. You could then apply the Logo filter to put your own.
Other Editing packages like Adobe Premiere 6, should also be capable.
