  1. Having recently being initiated into the world of mobile video and stills through my new Sony w300i cell phone, I now want to attempt to put a full length movie on it. However, in order to do this, I will need to buy a $50 external M2 card to put it on, not to mention the fact that I do not have super vision (or is it supervision, LOL!?) to view moving objects on such a tiny screen for so long. Anyway, I know that there are video playback programs out there that are compatible with my iQue 3600's Palm software, and I already have plenty of cheap 1 and 2G SD cards!! I also have a file viewer and the iQue 3600 screen size is adequate for that purpose so I guess viewing videos on it would not give me a headache!!

So, what video playback programs do you knowledgeable folks recommend? How much are they, and better yet are there any decent FREE ones??!! If not, do any offer a trial period? What type of codecs do they use, and what progs are you using to compress them? How do they look compressed? How is the sound (with headsets, of course)?

Any steering in the right direction would be most helpful, and as always I thank all of you in advance!!

Never used the garmin device but I have a Palm TX Os 5 and I use TCPMP to watch videos on it. Its open source and works great. Plays almost all video files.
