What I am I doing wrong?
    1. Infringing the forum rules by discussing warez
    2. Not providing enough detail about your problem - how did you convert the file
    3. Not using search - this is by far the most common question asked, and there are several answers just on the first page of this forum

Hello. Thank you for answering my post. I was only stating the avi 's extensions. You seem to be a lonely, mean individual that likes to target the new comers. You should be ashame of yourself. Of course you are not. Thank you for being such a jerk!

PS: I do not use Warez!

You are in breach of the forum rules and are being issued with a formal warning. Just buy/rent it on DVD and you wont have any playback problems.

Sorry to offend, but the file name you posted was clearly a downloaded TV program, which does breach our rules. These are closely policed because they are what protects us from the MPAA, TV networks and the likes of macrovision shutting this place down.

Second point is that you have posted enough information to be able to help you. Without knowing what software and process you used, there is no way to tell you where things might have gone wrong. Do you go to the doctor, say "I'm sick" and expect a diagnosis ?

Finally, in the top 5 posts in the forum when I responded, 3 of them were related directly to AVI - DVD conversion.

You want a short answer - ConvertXtoDVD to convert your avi, burn with Imgburn

I AM SORRY. I was so frustrated with the entire process. Can my post be deleted? Thank you for the information.

It's all good. I don't hold grudges (mostly ). This post will quickly slip into obscurity . . . . . . . . and later resurface at an embarrassing time, like that photo of you as a three year old in the bath that somehow turns up at your 21st.
