hey i have a question im new to this forum but i have been coming to this site for about 5 years now .But my question is hd dvd burner for the computers are they available if so where can i find one ,and how big are the movie on a hd dvd are they the size of a double dvd+-?

I have only seen a blu-ray burner at Fry's Electronics for about $550, but HD single sided disks are 15 GB and double sided 30 GB, vs blu-ray's 25 GB and 50 GB.

Fry's had Memorex brand HD disks. Blu-ray was available from TDK ( rewriteable ), Sony, Memorex, and Panasonic. Sony had 50 GB blu-ray disks for $40. The TDK rewriteable, 25 GB blu-ray was about $18. I think the Memorex HD, 15 GB disk was $15.
