    Hi,

I was trying to convert a Xvid file to xvid resized and lower resolution for PSP. But while saving VirtualDub gave me error "no audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format". I have converted a lot of files for PSP with virtual dub but never got this error.

I am getting this error for one specific file..

    Thanks.

Well - what audio format is in your source file? You're obviously lacking the audio codec VirtualDub needs.
If it's a format PSP can handle, just set audio to direct stream.

    Hi,

i just checked the file info by G-Spot. It says Audio info:
    0x2000 (Dolby AC3) AC3
    48000Hz 192 kb/s tot , stereo (2/0)

And i am trying to convert it to Lame MP3 64KBPS, 1 Channel Mono.

Is there anything i can do ?

  4. Just install AC3 ACM Decompressor.

Install this and you can convert/decompress AC3 audio directly to WAV/MP3 using Virtualdub, Tmpgenc, etc. AC3 encoding support in latest versions.
