    hi all...

    i have a movie and i want to just save one particular scene as its own file. i know how to cut with VirtualDub, but I was just wondering if it has to be done on a K frame. i ask because the start of the scene I want isn't near a K frame. is there any way to save it from anywhere other than a K frame? thanks very much for any/all help.

    Not using Direct Stream. With full processing (=reencoding) you can cut from any frame.
