hi. I have recently used AutoGK to rip a movie into an AVI file with the XVID codec. I am trying to use SUPER video converter to convert the file into 3gp or 3g2 or mpg4 but they do not work.

The SUPER video converter just shows the output status as Decoding Input when trying to convert
to 3g2 with output codec at mpeg4.

The SUPER video converter shows the output status as a small amount of kb when trying to convert to 3g2 with output codec at XVID. The file in the output folder is also only ~100 kb.

I think the problem is the xvid codec. Is there a way i can change the codec in the avi file?

    Thanks.

SUPER would use ffmpeg for 3gp output right? If so then libavcodec gets usd for all MPEG-4 decoding (Xvid, DivX, whatever).

libavcodec is what ffmpeg (and mencoder) use for a majority of decoding. ffmpeg is basically made up of libavcodec (encoding/decoding) and libavformat (muxing and demuxing).
Unless you have direct show enabled? In which case I guess it creates an AVISynth with directshowsource() to feed to ffmpeg/mencoder.
