    Im trying to add a video... so i add one and then i add one more and

    then it says:



    So then i get VideoReDo and redo the image but 4:3 - the same as the first one.. it still says its not allowed :S:S

    Im also getting loads of other errors when i try to add others...

    isn't there a setting where i can just allow anything?

    i dont get whats going on

    You can't mix 16:9 and 4:3 material in the same title (or in TDA parlance, Track). Obviously Redo hasn't changed the aspect ratio correctly. You can use ReStream to try again without re-encoding, however just changing the aspect ratio isn't the fix. This will just get you distorted images.

    Basic rules

    1. All assets in a title must have the same resolution, aspect ratio and format (PAL or NTSC).

    2. All assets in a title must have the same audio properties on the same tracks.

    3. Mixing formats (PAL and NTSC) is not DVD compliant. Some software will author it and give a warning. Some will refuse to author it at all.

    Should work if you add as seperate tracks, click "add new track" insead of "add file".

    Thats how i add my clips becuase they are in VOB format
