Hi.
I`m researching to find out if its possible to use virtual dvd players instead of many hardware players in a multimedia project. Currently we have 40 hardware players which are synced to play 40 different screens.
Is it possible to do this with "virtual" dvd players ?
Where do you reccomend me to seek information on the subject ?
Any feedback would be very appreciated.
John

You could load dvd images onto your HD, then mount the images as virtual drives. Assuming you have enough drive letters available, it should be possible. However, I seriously doubt any pc would have enough power to read/stream and play that many instances at one time.
