    guys are there any free programs out there that are close to the tempg programs looking for something that is easy to use thanx 4 help

    Which 'flavor' of TMPGEnc are you asking about? The encoder, the authoring program, or the encoder/authoring program?

    But for encoding, look to the latest version of HC or QuEnc. For authoring, maybe DVDAuthorgui or GUI for dvdauthor. Those are all freeware, so feel free to experiment. For all in one encoder/authoring, try DivxToDVD, also freeware.
