I need to reduce the MPEG2 video bitrate so my VCD player will play it (currentyl at 2450Kb/s), how do I reduce it? I've tried to de-mux/re-mux, but to no avail. Please advise. Thanks!
I can't convert MPEG2 that plays perfectly in a software DVD player - conflicting reports:
the multiplexer (IN tmpgenc) says Video is "Super Video-CD NTSC (MPEG-2 Video 480x480 29.97fps 2450KBPS)" and Audio says "MPEG1 Audio Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps".
When opening to convert "cannot open or unsupported"
I am trying to convert the video bitrate to be less as it is skipping like crazy in my Panasonic DVD-L50, which has successfully played S/XVCD's in the past. Please advise. If you'll reply by email, I'd be much obliged.
Thanks!
BZ
