    Hi, everybody,

I am trying to mux with TDA an m2v with audio file (English language track) in order to create a DVD. TDA gives an error message: Cannot open the audio file: "Name" T01 1+1ch 32Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3

The file shows a weird audio length of 21 minutes while the movie runs over 90 minutes but the file plays OK and audio is OK.

I tried to create wav from the English one with GoldWave but when I convert the wav to ac3, I get an audio file of a huge size. It is much bigger than the wav.

I tried to play the wav file but there is no audio.

When I was demuxing DVD with DGMPIndex, I've got two audio files - with the Engslish and Spanish languages. The Spanish one can be opened and shows the right length. It has different extension: "Name" T03 3_2ch 448Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3

What could be wrong with the English audio track? Thank you!

    Guys,

I realize that I've probably provided not sufficient information to get an advice on the issue.

I am ready to provide as much info as required. Just please advise me what other info is required.

    Thnak you!

32kbps is incredibly low. I suspect that the issue is simply that your audio is not DVD compliant. try converting it to AC3 using ffmpeggui or AftenGUI and Aften.

    guns1inger,

I couldn't understand how AftenGUI and Aften work. But ffmpeggui did work.

Once I loaded the file in it, it was "thinking" for quite a while and after all it crunched it.

    Thank you!
