The "Force to 16:9" facility is very useful at times when an avi has been encoded to an incorrect resolution. However, there is one problem, and that is that it is an "all or nothing" facility, so that when you put 2 or even 3 AVIs on one dvd, but only one of them needs correcting, then you can't use this facility.
I have found a way around it but its very long winded.
Chrissy, would it be possible to make this facility capable of being applied to specific assets only?

Sounds like a good idea. I am working on a new program which will supercede SVCD2DVD and per asset configuration will be included...
SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
VOB2MPG PRO, Extract mpegs from your DVDs - with you in control! -
So should I wait before buying SVCD2DVD? I am tired of Roxio's quirks and have been looking for a payware alternative. For my high def captures I really like HDTV2DVD, which appears to be a limited function version of SVCD2DVD. The demo of SVCD2DVD appears to have all of the functions I want for my camcorder captures.Originally Posted by ChrissyBoy
