    Im a newbie at dvd burning and just cannot seem to figure this out...I recently converted an avi file to dvd using winavi....when i tried to burn to a dvd im gettin the error message dvd files reallocation failed...it seems like ive read every forum on the topic and am pretty sure ive tried everything...i tried ifoedit, dvdfixit, and igmtool and keep getting this same message...ive seen a variety of posts on various sites and im sure its something simple but i cant seem to figure out...any help would be apprecitated...

    That sounds like a Nero error, so take a look at this Nero error page: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45942 Scroll down to the 'DVD-Video files reallocation failed'. Even if it isn't a Nero reported error, the solution is still valid.

    This is a DVD structure error. If you can't fix it, I would try another program besides WinAVI that has less of those type of problems. ConvertXToDVD for one. There is also a freeware version available, DivxToDVD, but the pay version is well worth the cost.
