Hello there,
I am in big trouble. I have tried the hack to set my hr 738 region free.
Obviously, I failed.
Now, the tray would not open, the DVD led is flashing amber...
The player refuses to do anything...
Please help...
Thanks

For the Pioneer players, there's an approach called JIGS that transfers the firmware through a serial port of a PC, a serial cable, and an interface jig to the recorder. It's similar to JTAGing a satellite receiver or other equipment. It's used when the burner won't open. Try to get a service manual for your Samsung. There's probably a procedure for doing it. A repair center should be able to do it easily although I'm not sure what they would charge.
