Good morning,
Having used Nero 7UE for awhile and having no trouble capturing video except last nite when I got the dreaded Blue screen, Stack error...this is first time while capturing a routine bball tape from my camcorder. But, I am wondering whether there is a stand along, reliable video-audio program for doing this. I tried WinDV and it works, however I would like to hear the audio, and I could not get VirtualDub to work at all. Would appreciate a couple recommendations...

VirtualDub 1.6 is reputed to work with transferring DV from a DV device, though I haven't tried it. You would need a DV codec to export, though. I use the Panasonic DV codec for that.
