Hello all, I would like to know what I would need t broadcast a live event like a hockey game on my school website. Can we use DV cameras, capture cards... I am new to this stuff and I would like to know what type of investment we are talking about here. I am not looking for something professional but something decent for parents to logon to and watch the game.
Thanks in advance
Max

Wow so many questions and not may answers. We are looking at more that 5 person online for sure. we are not in a urban area so basically I was hoping to use the bandwith to stream it. Now I guess the question is how much bandwidth I need. As far as the equipment is concernened, I could not use a DV cam for example, a capture card and broadcast it on windows media player. Yeah I know too simple but I thought I 'd give it a shot.
So can you clarify what hardware is needed and I will figure out the bandwidth...?

For the Bandwodth, we have got 2 lines, both 6Mb/sec and we could add another one if needed. What hardware would I need to be able to do a decent broadcast.
Thanks
