Okay, I am using PowerVCR II (demo) to capture my video and audio (I gave up on ATI's video and audio being out of sync for right now). It records okay, and saves it into mpeg. But the video is a little blocky. Now I am assuming it is 1 of two things. My machine (processor) or resolution. Okay these are the available resolutions (I am trying to make a SVCD.
320 x 240
352x240
352x288
384x288
360x240
360x288
640x480
720x480
720x576
Now the blocky video was recorded in 360x240 because when I tried the 640x480 (default) in my dvd player it had the video squeezed into the left side of the screen. Now if my resolution is not causing the problem, I do have access to a 733 PIII Dell Machine, that I can use, it would just be a pain in a butt to get. But is possible. If that would solve the problem, I will do it, but I would prefer to stick on my PIII 500 machine. If there is a better resolution to use than the 360x240 I will try it, but should I get the dell machine to solve my problem?
