How do i play my subtitle files on the windows media player

Hey guys um im a bit new at this video stuff, anyways i downloaded this movie rite and i found the subtitles that match perfectly to it. I usually usw VLC PLAYER to watch my movies but when i use the VLC the timing of the subtitles don't match the VLC'S timing. I tried to play the movie on WMP and the timing was perfect to the subtitles timing, but i can't seem to play the movie with the subtitle if i use WMP. I downloaded Vobsub but im still clueless someone please hel[p

Have you named the video and subtitle file like
video.avi
video.srt
?

Then should vobsub automatically open the subtitle file when you play the avi. You should see a green arrow in the windows notfication area.

And try also upgrade to latest directvobsub.

yeah i already named the video avi and subtitle srt but vobsub still doesn't load when i play the video on WMP. what do i do now?

The video and sub have to have EXACTLY the same name i.e -
amiraiman_binks.avi
amiraiman_binks.srt

like that rite? still vobsub doesn't open when i play it at WMP
