    Hi,

I had a avi Divx4 (Open Divx), according to Gsopt.

I used the programa AVI FourCC Changer 1.00 to change the codec and see if I could work with it better, because I had problems to demux the audio ac3 that didn't play well.

The problem now is I can't go back and have the avi as it was originally.
I have this film in two halves. The first one is unchanged (Divx4 Open Divx) and I can see the image, the second one was changed with AVI FourCC Changer and I can't see it any more. This program has the options Fourcc description code and user code but I can't choose the right one as to let the avi with the Divx4 (Open Divx) as it was at the beginning..

    Thanks in advance.

    Well,

I found a solution. I downloaded a different program, AVI 4CC Editor, and this one let me choose the right codec.

Now I still can't demux the audio ac3 from this avi Divx4, nor can I reencode the avi outputting an audio that works.

  3. All you had to do was look at the unmodified file to see what the two codes are, then restore the modified file to those same codes.
